Highland Pointe has two lakes with catch and release fishing as well as an approximately 2.5 miles walking trail that runs throughout the neighborhood. The trail terrain is varied as it goes partially up Sweat Mountain and back down through the neighborhood, as well as around the South Lake. There's even a Little Free Library along the trail for neighbors to exchange books.
